Saturday 23rd September - Sunday 1st October 2000
The 6th Berrow Power Break was the biggest and best yet,
with more kite buggiers and kite-surfers than ever before making the trip
to Berrow in Somerset for a week of fun.
aeolian.co.uk were there all week to report daily
from the site, as the official website of Berrow 2000. You can catch up
on all the happenings both on and off the beach here. Also, check out
the Berrow 1999 section for last
year's comprehensive reports and photos. Don't forget to visit the Out-Takes
& Caption Competition page, where you can see the stuff that
didn't quite make it onto the main pages...
The British Buggy Club have announced that this year's event
will be the last Berrow event ever. See the Press
Release for further details. Details of next year's event(s) have
not yet been decided - watch this space for further announcements.
We would like to say a thank you to everyone who was involved
in the organisation of Berrow 2000 for their hard work and enthusiasm
in making this event a memorable one. We hope you enjoy the pictures we
have here. We can't guarantee that we covered everything (the freestyle
buggying event for instance - we were trying to get back from our lighthouse
safari in one piece...) but hope you find it a good representation of
the week as it happened.
See you on a beach or a field somewhere soon.
