Berrow '99 Daily ReportDay 7: Friday 24th September 1999Oh will it ever stop raining !?! Woke up yet again to the "gentle" pitter patter of rain on the caravan roof - it finally stopped for about an hour around midday, in time for some Novice and Pro racing. As usual the races descended into chaos as buggiers crashed, fell over, wrapped kites and lines, and that was even before any of them had got past the start gate! Unfortunately there was an accident today, Andy Beveridge broke his collarbone in three places - get well soon Andy! Again, the wind was blowing around 15-25mph, with lots of outbreaks of rain during the day, making it difficult for the buggiers. I did try to buggy with my Nasawing, but it was impossible to control, and having no other kites for high wind, I gave up and took photos instead! Hence later this evening I was awarded the Slow-Bo by Ian. Cheers, guys! Tonight was Fright Night at the marquee- do not view any of the photos if you are of a nervous disposition!
