Kites 2001 - The Year in Video

The Year in Video

Filmed throughout 2001 at some of the UK's premier kite festivals, this video shows the diversity of kites and kite flying today.

From the beautiful and delicate Chinese dragon kites flown at the Sunderland International Kite Festival, to the excitement of buggying on the beach at Pembrey, the art of team flying, or the fun of mountainboarding.. If you enjoyed flying a kite in 2001 then this should remind you of those good times.

11 short trailers start the video (including ones from our video section), featuring the best of the UK kite festivals, a look at the Blade II, Viper & Predator 3, Andy Wardley's amazing Gemini flying and Rokkaku fighting.
