Caesar

Caesar arrives home one night very, very drunk.

It takes him many attempts before he can open the door.
Eventually he manages to but trips over the front door step and falls onto a table which has a vase of flowers. The vase falls to the ground and breaks. He picks himself up and heads for the bedroom.
On the way to the bedroom he again falls, this time onto another table with a goldfish bowl. The goldfish bowl crashes to the ground.
Determined to make it to his bedroom he picks himself up for a second time and manages to crawl into his bed where he promptly falls asleep.

Awaking late the next morning and nursing a sore head Caesar finds Cleopatra dead on the floor!

How is this so ?

 

ANSWER

Cleopatra is the goldfish!
